As Channel Account Manager, you will be responsible for creating, managing, and maintaining relationships with channel partners. You will oversee the sales process and ensure smooth flow of communication between channel partners and the company. You will have the authority to approve purchase orders and coordinate with other departments to provide appropriate resources to help channel partners achieve their sales quota.
Some of your key responsibilities will include meeting sales goals by understanding and selling products, services, and partners; performing regular market analysis to identify opportunities; proactively developing new sales strategies; creating budget plans; and providing feedback and advice to the company and channel partners.
The successful candidate will need a strong demonstrable experience in working with channel partners. As a Channel Account Manager, you will need excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills, as well as a strong understanding of the tech industry. You should also demonstrate strong organizational and analytical skills, and the ability to develop successful sales plans and strategies.
