The Program Manager will effectively manage Professional Services projects to ensure delivery to the expected levels of quality, cost & time in a truly international environment.
As a Senior Program Manager, you will:
- Manage complex projects in multinational Enterprise & Service provider environments.
- Effectively manage the project portfolio to meet financial targets including revenue recognition and margin requirements.
- Be able to read and understand contracts to identify the implications of the terms from a PS perspective.
- Meet revenue and billable utilization targets for the region.
- Apply second order thinking to drive effective outcomes for internal and external customers.
- Have a clear bias for action, displaying ownership and accountability to one’s work and the overall growth of the PS business.
- Utilize communication and conflict resolution skills to independently address and resolve interpersonal conflicts and issues.
- Develop a quick and clear understanding of the customer requirements through project scoping.
- Provide excellent resource scheduling skills, taking into account consultant specialties & expertise levels within the team as well as the time constraints to deliver to the expected level of service.
- Set clear project planning & project objectives.
- Evaluate project progress with a focus on the customer experience, service excellence and ownership for resolving customer issues where required
- Evaluate project risk with good risk management planning through project controls & internal discussion with the Professional Services management team.
- Provide advice and be the initial point of escalation for assigned PS projects within the team and ensure resolution in a timely manner.
- Ability to work on multiple projects at the same time and managing & prioritizing tasks to ensure project efficiency.
- Assure a high quality of documentation and act as a point of QA for any project documentation
- Stay up to date on new product developments & technologies, providing input and operational direction to the PS team on supporting such technologies
- Review and action on customer satisfaction surveys
- Encourage open communication between team members, suggesting and driving forward ideas about how the team can work more effectively together
- Review priorities and take appropriate action to ensure results are achieved
- Follow up with customer and internal Fortinet departments to ensure project documentation is completed:
- Complete and submit any required administrative tasks in a timely manner (timesheets, activities report, project reports, etc.).

- 8 - 10 years background in complex Enterprise/Service Provider technical project management preferably in the network & security field.
- A master time manager who exhibits excellent priority and schedule management both with their personal (daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, etc.) and project related tasks.
- International PMO experience in a multinational system integrator is highly beneficial.
- Data analytical skills, ability to interpret data and take actions based on it.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Strong knowledge of the security threat landscape.
- Able to juggle priorities to meet deadlines without cutting corners.
- Experience in driving change initiatives in a PS environment.
- Ability to develop effective relationships internally at a variety of levels and work closely with commercial departments such as sales and presales.
- Experience improving and developing the knowledge & skills of others.
- Project Management certifications (PMP, Prince II).
- Ability to work according to customer’s schedules which may include weekends/evenings.
- Team player and ability to work remotely & interact with remote teams & employees.
- Advanced to expert skills at MS office suite using applications such as Power Point, Word, Visio & Project.
- Ability to work well under pressure and remain focused on the tasks in hand.
- Ability to travel internationally, if needed.

- Educated to degree level in a technical or management discipline and/or extensive experience in program management operating in a similar role - Bachelors Degree in EE, CS, or CE or equivalent experience.
