Reporting to the

What a typical day looks like:

  • Provides guidance on employee engagement, workforce planning, and policy interpretation, while mentoring managers and assessing management capabilities.
  • Promotes creating a supportive environment for a diverse workforce and participates in site and corporate project teams.
  • Manages the entire employee lifecycle, from onboarding and orientation to exit processes, while developing recruitment programs and maintaining local compliance.
  • Assists with providing ad-hoc and scheduled HR data reports/analysis to the business.
  • Partners with HR Centers of Excellence and Total Rewards to enhance employee satisfaction, retention, and sustainability initiatives, ensuring alignment with local regulations.

The experience we’re looking to add to our team:

  • Bachelor’s degree or its equivalent in education and experience in a Human Resource related function.
  • 3- 5 years of Human Resources or related experience.
  • Advanced experience and skills associated with performing HR functions like employee relations, investigation processes, KPI's and data analytics.
  • Microsoft Excel & PowerPoint (advanced skills strongly preferred), Workday and Kronos – a plus!
  • Solid background on Illinois labor laws and regulations.
  • Good communication skills with all levels of the organization from production associates through executives.
  • Available to work On-Site; M-F

  • Delivers timely and accurate HR reporting and metrics to support business operations, providing data-driven insights that inform strategic decision-making and enhance organizational effectiveness.
  • Guides Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion efforts, consults on HR policies and compliance, and manages legal documentation and records as required by law.
  • Communicates employee benefits and supports sustainability initiatives while providing mentoring and evaluation for management skills.

  • Requires a bachelor’s degree or its equivalent in education and experience in a Human Resource related function.
  • 3-5 years of Human Resources or related experience.
  • Demonstrates advanced experience and skills associated with performing assigned HR functions.
  • Reporting/metrics experience; Excel advanced skills preferred.
  • Must be able to communicate to all levels of the organization.
  • Addresses customer feedback, supports employee concerns, and engages with regulatory agencies as appropriate.

What a typical day looks like:

  • Advise and coach the GM and their team on matters related to talent management, including skills requirements, workforce planning, business selection, executive coaching, performance management, retention, succession planning, etc.
  • Partner with COEs and HR GBS to develop and deliver integrated people and organization solutions addressing workforce and succession planning, development, reward and recognition, etc.
  • Consult and assist business on strategic HR matters, including organizational design and restructuring, talent management, career development, etc.
  • Plan, implement and facilitate HR initiatives (workforce planning, performance review, employee engagement initiatives, talent review, succession planning, compensation planning and review).
  • Consult with business and HR colleagues to develop and deliver an HR strategy that meets the needs of the business.
  • Drive employee communications and training of managers on new programs, systems and processes as required.
  • Partner with COEs and HR Service Center to develop and deliver integrated people and organization solutions.
  • Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues and ensure the consistent treatment of employees and the application of Flex policies and procedures.
  • Develop and manage HR projects, programs and initiatives

The experience we’re looking to add to our team:

  • Requires a Bachelor’s degree or its equivalent in education and experience in a Human Resource related function
  • Minimum 7 years of Human Resources or related experience in business with specific experience in HR, Consulting, Project Management and Change Management
  • Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships with business leaders and collaborate as trusted advisors
  • Experience developing strategies and proactive initiatives that support business goals
  • Manufacturing environment experience strongly preferred
