Intern - support in the control and audit of projects in the field of EU funds

Your Responsibilities

Your job would consist of supporting our team primarily in:

• assisting with consulting, audits, and controls of projects in the area of EU funds
• working with information systems, assisting in verifying and evaluating projects and their compliance with legislative regulations
• searching, comparing, and verifying information related to the project- supporting colleagues in addressing tasks related to administration
• preparing documents for printing, scanning, organizing and processing files, and ensuring the accuracy and completeness of documentation submitted to clients.

Skills and Qualifications for Success

• Student in the 4th or 5th year of university majoring in economics, management, law, or public administration.
• Fluency in Slovak and English.
• Analytical skills and good knowledge of MS Office (especially MS Word, MS PowerPoint, and MS Excel and its functions).
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to work in a team. Initiative and enthusiasm.
• Knowledge of the EU funds environment, project cycle, and public procurement law is an advantage.

Junior Consultant – Finance Strategy & Transformation

Salary: EUR 1 600 - 1 700 upon agreement

We help our clients optimize and automate financial processes and implement financial reporting and planning software. Your role will include advising them on how to integrate changes in local and international regulations (IFRS, US GAAP) into their internal processes. You will also help companies streamline their closing processes and set up controlling systems.

• Work with data : Analyze and visualize financial processes, work on consolidations, and set up proper reporting for complex transactions in line with IFRS. You will also identify key information in company data and propose how to use it effectively when implementing changes.
• Experience across industries : Participate in projects focused on the consolidation of financial statements for international and local company groups of various sizes and sectors.

• Work on transfer pricing (TP) projects – applying TP methods, reviewing TP arrangements and preparing TP documentation
• Actively participate in projects and interact with clients, working in teams and consulting with colleagues to provide advice on TP technical issues, preparing documentation or opinions according to clients’ needs and requirements
• Develop financial and economic analyses and models to support TP decision-making • Participate in projects related to TP tax audits – demonstrating compliance with the arm’s length principle, preparing and submitting supporting materials and statements to the tax administrator, interacting with both the client and tax administrator to justify the applied TP model

• Assist in projects providing consultancy services for corporate valuation and financial modeling
• Participate in both the preparation of valuation models and comparison of different business valuation methods
• Contribute to the preparation of valuation reports, final reports and opinions for clients
