What You Will Accomplish:

• Aging analysis and resolution: Review aged open items in multiple systems to determine the proper course of action and coordinate with business partners and vendors to clear them.
• Audit requests: Respond to and gather all requested documentation related to external and internal audits by their due dates.
• Quality Assurance reviews: Perform quality assurance checks of our 3rd party partners to ensure invoices and payments are processed in accordance with our standard operating procedures and SOX controls
• Communication: Serve as a liaison between and within departments to cultivate effective communication and collaboration.
• Analysis and Reporting: Conduct comprehensive data analysis to support strategic decision-making and deliver actionable insights to management.
• Problem Solving: Proactively identify and resolve issues, using innovative solutions and AI to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
• Process Improvement: Assist in identifying and implementing improvements and reducing manual efforts to Accounts Payable processes.

What You Will Bring:

• Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in finance, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Dedicated to our Hybrid Work Model: Working onsite in our Austin office 3 days/week.
• Professional Experience: Proven experience in an Accounts Payable role or similar position, demonstrating expertise in financial operations.
• Organizational Skills: Outstanding organizational and multitasking abilities, with a keen eye for detail.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, coupled with good interpersonal abilities.
• Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in SAP ECC or S4 Hana, Microsoft Office Suite, and relevant software applications, with the ability to quickly adapt to new technologies.

What you will accomplish:

• Drive the efficiency of the payables process by ensuring timely and accurate processing consignor payments, ultimately supporting the smooth operation of the business.
• Collaborate across internal functions to resolve discrepancies, answer inquiries, and ensure accurate and up-to-date payment records.
• Implement process improvements within the accounts payable function to increase automation, reduce manual errors, and streamline workflows, resulting in enhanced team productivity.
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities , ensuring that accounts payable records are properly reconciled and documented to assist with timely financial reporting.
• Grow your skills in financial systems and accounting software, learning new tools and techniques that will support your career development in the accounting field.

What you will bring:

• 2+ years of experience in accounts payable, bookkeeping, or a related field, with a strong understanding of accounting processes and financial systems.
• Proficiency with accounting software such as QuickBooks, SAP, or similar systems, with the ability to adapt to new tools quickly.
• Strong Excel skills is highly encouraged, including the ability to work with large datasets, create reports, and incorporate formulas and functions to analyze financial data.
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work with large volumes of data while ensuring accuracy in all transactions.
• Proficiency in Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides), with the ability to manage documents and collaborate optimally within a cloud-based environment.
• Strong communication skills , both written and verbal, with the ability to build relationships and communicate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders.
• A problem-solving mentality , with the ability to address discrepancies and issues quickly, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
• A collaborative approach , working well within a team while also taking ownership of individual tasks and responsibilities. Flexibility to work in-office and potentially remotely as per company policy.
