What You'll DoYou will partner with your account managers to help drive strategic deals in the midsize and above market for Cisco. These segments have a balance of customers across commercial and service provider sectors and is a dynamic and extremely fast-paced environment. You will often encounter challenges for which the rulebook doesn’t yet exist and your solutions will push the boundaries what the customers had thought possible. You will act as aThe expectation is that you will use Cisco technology to balance in-person and virtual meetings with stakeholders, customers and partners.Who You'll Work WithWho You AreOur minimum requirements for this role:* Previous technical sales experience as pre-sales systems engineer of at least 3 years’ experience.
* Have proven experience in carrying and achieving large sales quotas.
* Some form ofant certifications are preferred and strongly encouraged.
* Be able to demonstrate a software sales background and software architectural knowledge.
* Be a self-starter. Have strongg skills and ability to assess a problem and figure out an effective course of action with minimal guidance.
* Demonstrated experience in data-driven decision making and technical sales strategy creation.
* Business-level English and language of the hub in which you’re based. Willing to interact daily with multinational stakeholders in either language. Fluency in an additional widely spoken language inEMEAis always a plus.* A degree in physical sciences, engineering or mathematics.
* You will need high emotional intelligence and a strong focus on soft-skills development.

As a Security Account Executive for SMB markets, you will...
Be responsible for the sales of Security technologies (focused on SaaS or SASE technologies). You will craft and grow channel relationships as well as direct touch with target accounts to drive revenue. Your responsibilities include:
You will be responsible for a quota and territory that maps to a Cisco generalist territory
You will provide support for and build relationships with Cisco counterparts (Account Managers, Sales Engineers, Regional Managers, etc.)
Engage prospects that are generated by various lead-generation methods
Identify decision-makers within targeted accounts to begin the sales process
Demonstrate and present our Security solutions via live web-based demos and in-person presentations
As necessary, travel for prospect meetings and support marketing efforts such as trade shows, exhibits, and other events
Emphasize product/service features and benefits, quote prices, discuss terms, and prepare sales order forms and/or reports
Attend periodic sales training where applicable
Provide accurate weekly sales forecasts to management

2+ years of software selling experience (SaaS preferred)
You have direct touch sales experience combined with the ability to work with a motivated channel
University or college degree
You have experience selling complex software-based solutions
Proven sales record of consistently meeting and exceeding quota
Familiarity with Microsoft Outlook & Office products
You have experience in applying solution-selling methodologies to improve corporate revenue growth
All-around knowledge of the Security Market and Channel
Enthusiastic with the ability to succeed in a dynamic environment
Task/goal-oriented and takes ownership
Experience managing many opportunities and using solution-selling techniques when appropriate
Skilled in virtual presentations, online web demos, and remote sales processes
Proficiency using or other CRM systems
