In this key role, you will develop and lead long-term strategic partnerships with selected key accounts—including university hospitals, private hospital groups, and purchasing alliances. You will design tailored solutions, negotiate at C-level, and drive innovations that deliver real value to patients and healthcare systems.

Your Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement account strategies for defined key customers, including goal setting, action planning, and performance tracking
  • Build and maintain strong networks at C-level (medical, administrative, financial)
  • Manage the entire account planning and mapping process: define shared performance goals, financial targets, and milestones
  • Lead contract and pricing negotiations across the full BSC portfolio, including value-added services
  • Actively coordinate cross-functional teams: Marketing, Health Economics, Clinical, and Service
  • Analyze market and reimbursement trends, derive strategic actions, and adapt national strategy accordingly
  • Position and sell our ADVANTICS™ portfolio (Services & Solutions) to strengthen long-term customer partnerships
  • Execute projects aimed at improving healthcare efficiency and patient care

Your Profile

  • Completed university degree (Master’s or equivalent), ideally in Business, Medicine, Health Economics, or a related field
  • 5–10 years of relevant experience in strategic sales, key account management, or business development in healthcare
  • Proven success in building C-level relationships and managing complex contract negotiations
  • Experience in project management from concept to execution
  • Strong change management and problem-solving skills
  • Analytical mindset combined with a creative approach to solutions
  • Excellent German and English language skills
  • Ability to thrive in a matrix organization
  • High willingness to travel

About the role:

In this strategic and cross-functional role, you will lead user experience (UX) initiatives across the portfolio—guiding efforts from discovery through delivery. As a champion of human-centered design (HCD), you will embed Voice of Customer (VoC) insights into every phase of the product lifecycle, ensuring that solutions are not only innovative but also deeply aligned with user needs and business goals. You will play a pivotal role in shaping experience strategy, mentoring teams, and driving alignment across stakeholders to deliver life-changing medical devices to patients and clinicians in support of BSC’s mission.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading strategic UX engagements from discovery through build, aligning cross-functional teams and stakeholders across the portfolio.
  • Designing and executing Voice of Customer (VoC) research to uncover user needs and inform product strategy, experience design, and prioritization.
  • Embedding human-centered design (HCD) practices into delivery and pursuit work, ensuring user insights are central to decision-making.
  • Facilitating collaborative workshops to align teams, shape roadmaps, and spark innovation across disciplines.
  • Mentoring peers and fostering inclusive, high-performing teams that deliver with empathy, creativity, and excellence.
  • Translating user and clinical needs into inclusive, accessible, and engaging design strategies that align with business and marketing goals—leveraging insights from physicians and subject matter experts to inform product requirements and future innovation.
  • Prototyping and iterating on solutions based on user insights and client feedback to ensure experiences are intuitive, functional, and valuable.
  • Structuring and conducting user research and usability evaluations to inform and validate design decisions.
  • Balancing user needs with business goals and technical constraints to deliver impactful, measurable experiences.
  • Effectively communicating project decisions and status to a wide variety of audiences and stakeholders.
  • Leveraging internal and external partners as needed to achieve project objectives and maintain momentum.
  • Demonstrating a primary commitment to patient safety and product quality by adhering to all documented quality processes and procedures.

Required Qualifications:

  • BS in Engineering, Marketing, Graphic/UI Design, or Industrial Design
  • Required minimum years of relevant work experience: 10 yrs with BS, or 8 yrs with MS
  • Strong medical device development experience and working with health care providers
  • Experience in Contextual Inquiry / Gather Design Inputs, and detailed use flow and variations.
  • Creation of design prototypes utilized for early usability studies, formative and summative study design and execution.
  • Familiarity with documentation of study results and reports

Preferred Qualifications

  • Ability to solve complex problems, including designing, executing experimental plans, and using design methodologies to drive data-based decisions
  • Ability to draw conclusions and make recommendations based on inputs from multiple and varied sources.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work independently to plan, schedule, and execute activities necessary to meet project timelines
  • Discipline and standards knowledge specific to user experience design for medical devices
  • Contributions to the Human Factors / User Experience community
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies

About the role:

This role will bring drafting competencies into the product development cycle from the early concept stage all the way to product release. These competencies are focused on the Engineering Documentation of the designs. A large component focuses on robust CAD design in all stages of the development cycle. Direct supervision/guidance on print package content/deliverables, including Windchill document management.


Your responsibilities will include:

  • Work with R&D Engineering and vendors to develop a robust product design.
  • Assists in development & documentation of all design requirements of developed designs.
  • Involved in all design (fit & tolerance analysis)/print reviews to lead changes to the drawings, processes and tolerances to maintain a robust product design.
  • Assist in creation & specification of test methods to measure developing design requirements.
  • Assist in selection of appropriate process technologies to allow components to be created as required.
  • Assist in selection of ancillary resources to assist. EX: Industrial Engineering, Engineering Analysis, protype acquisition etc.
  • Create CAD Solid Models of all design concepts.
  • Management of Engineering print package, including adherence to drafting standards, engineering design standard (EDS) and other department procedures.
  • Resource drafters to help create Solid Models and drawings.
  • Manages the Print Package deliverables in Windchill (creation of part numbers, bills of material, primary content files, design capability matrixes, product structure linkages, creation of change notices etc.).

Required qualifications:

  • AA Degree or equivalent certificate, or equivalent work experience in related discipline.
  • CAD Software training or experience
  • 2-7 years of experience.

Preferred qualifications:

  • SolidWorks expertise (possibly including certifications).
  • Injection molded plastic part design experience.
  • Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing acumen.
  • Tolerance Stack Analysis skills.
  • Medical Device Design Background.
