What your role will look like:

Here’s a glimpse of what you’ll be doing:

  • Analyze pricing data and identify gaps, and then work with tender offices, sales, and marketing to close them.
  • Proactively improve deal design in collaboration with sales teams.
  • Help shape and track price performance through monthly reviews and reporting forums.
  • Identify opportunities to improve price consistency, product mix, rebate configuration, and value-based pricing approaches.
  • Support pricing tool implementation and rollout in collaboration with our EMEA Pricing Center of Excellence.
  • Prepare and present pricing reports for monthly and quarterly business reviews and help local teams understand and act on the findings.

As a Pricing Specialist in the Rhythm Management EMEA team, you’re not just running reports -This role is fast-paced, people-focused, and strategic—you’ll spend as much time influencing commercial decisions as you will refining models, with a strong sense of ownership and a clear impact on the business.

Purpose Statement

To manage the UK&I Field Inventory Management and Capital Equipment Department.


Key Responsibilities

  • Team Management: Responsible for providing the daily management and direction of the customer service team to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction; Monitors team performance against service indicators on an ongoing basis, initiating corrective actions, preparing reports, summaries, analysis and documentation on all aspects of department function; Performs all personnel management activities for customer service staff, including recruitment, training, performance appraisal, salary management and professional development in collaboration with HR Manager; Coaches others in the team on a disciplined customer services model; Member of Senior management Team.
  • Business Management: Building a partnership approach with country sales managers to service customers by ensuring regular FIM&CE team/field sales communications; Works in partnership with country sales managers in the control of consignment inventories; Works in partnership with country sales managers in the control of capital equipment devices, agreements and orders; Effectively presents and communicates core strategies and performance in the wider business; Exhibits strong inter-personal skills in front of the customer; Effectively support internal and external audit processes; Analyze field inventory landscape – identify priorities and opportunities for optimal balance between required service and cost (expiry scrap, inventory levels); Support on-site inventory management activities for customers, including inventory discrepancy resolution and purchase order collection; Provide monthly reporting on expiry scrap, days inventory on hand, optimization programs, Inventory Discrepancies;
  • Work with Business Unit and Customer Care managers to achieve annual targets around expiry scrap and inventory optimization programs; Support roll-out and adoption of existing and new field inventory management tools; Ensure that all types of returns are well handled to the Distribution Center or Manufacturing sites; Ensure proper management of local emergency warehouse.
  • Quality: As interface to Customers and Sales Representative has direct responsibility to facilitate, share documents and process to identify, notify and ensure any complaint or problem are addressed, thereby demonstrating high commitment to Quality in all interactions and behaviors - Act as needed to support and facilitate any field corrective action related his/her scope; Ensures awareness and compliance with applicable standard operating procedures to meet, comply and champion all quality and regulatory commitments of Boston Scientific.

Required qualifications:

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree in relevant field or equivalent thru experience;
  • At least 5 years of experience in supply chain environment or similar role;
  • Excellent analytical and reporting skills;
  • Advanced Excel. Other reporting or DB tools an advantage;
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively work with others to include communication, presentation, analysis, negotiation etc;

Key Responsibilities

• Provides updates to BOOST uXcelerate & P-Activate programs Leads regularly, senior management and all stakeholders, of progress through frequent communications of findings at regular intervals via reports and meetings.

• Partner with key stakeholders (EMEA and Cluster) to develop change management strategies and tactics, to enable change over the longer term, prioritizing a collaborative approach.

• Coordinate with BOOST uXcelerate & P-Activate programs leads the development and follow up of comprehensive measurement tools (KPI’s) to gauge the effectiveness of the project.

• Develops and delivers project recommendations to stakeholders related to the program & provides regular communication to appropriate stakeholders.

• Leads and fosters communities of practice utilizing collaboration tools.

• Identify the resources required for assigned project activities and form teams as required to complete the activities

• Coordinate relevant resources for delivery of change and / or integration and planning requirements.

• Elevate issues and clear barriers to team progress. Quickly resolve conflicts and involve functional management as required.

• Manage multiple projects in parallel as necessary.

Qualifications

• Complex Project and Program Management experience of at least 5 years

• Experience in Pharma and/or Med device industry as a nice to have

• Proven ability to coach, mentor and lead others in project and program management arena

• Proven ability on process design and implementation

• Strong understanding of Change Management practices with excellent interpersonal skills and emotional intelligence

• Management of a portfolio of programs / products at a strategic level

• Strong experience interacting with multiple internal stakeholders at once (Marketing / Sales and other support functions)

• Ability to interact effectively with all levels within the organization and with outside vendors/consultants

• Results-orientated and excels working in fast-paced, competitive environment

• Works autonomously and demonstrates ability to take responsibility

• Fluent in English
