General Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the burndown of current sensitive data remediation, identifying and articulating areas of new risk to senior leadership partners and stakeholders.

  • Provide strategic oversight around data classification and protection related processes, policies, and procedures, ensuring they continue to evolve with our risk landscape.

  • Drive the execution of the roadmap of currently known, next-generation Core Data Protection initiatives, including sensitive data inventory, toxic data combinations, and automated compliance.

  • Partner with our enterprise teams to create and evolve solutions to meet our ever-changing risk landscape and mitigate risk.

  • Assess, make recommendations, and drive the evolution of current Core Data Protection service area operational risk processes.

  • Demonstrate outstanding communication and partnership skills which are essential for interacting and communicating with key stakeholders across all levels to manage, inform, and influence outcomes.

  • Passion and expertise in cybersecurity, with an ability to be confident, respectful, and articulate when registering dissenting or unpopular opinions.

  • Ability to drive multiple service area work streams across multiple stakeholder groups while maintaining superior results.

Basic Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent certification

  • At least 8 years of experience in managing, consulting, or working in the fields of cybersecurity, technology, or risk management

  • At least 6 years of project management experience

  • At least 4 years of experience developing, evaluating, or implementing cybersecurity strategy or governance structures

  • At least 4 years of people leadership experience within cybersecurity or risk management

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree

  • 9+ years of experience in managing, consulting, or working in the fields of cybersecurity, technology, or risk management

  • 5+ years of people leadership experience within cybersecurity or risk management

  • Professional Certification (Security+, CISSP, CISA, SSCP, CASP, or CCSP)

  • 1+ years of Jira and Confluence experience

New York City (Hybrid On-Site): $199,100 - $227,200 for Sr. Manager, Cyber Risk & AnalysisThis role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI). Incentives could be discretionary or non discretionary depending on the plan.
