Your Impact

As a Business Operations Manager, you will partner closely with the Chief of Staff and other senior executives in Cisco Legal. You will be responsible for managing the day-to-day business operations and leading key initiatives for the department. This role ensures 1) strategic priorities are properly implemented, 2) organizes, maintains and prepares documentation for the organization, and 3) prepares meeting agendas for the Legal SLT in partnership with the Chief of Staff. Additionally, you will coordinate and implement special projects, providing comprehensive support and managing cross-functional stakeholders to drive business impact.


Primary responsibilities include:


  • Manage day-to-day operational aspects of the Office of the CLO.
  • Partner with the Chief of Staff to operationalize and complete Cisco Legal’s strategic plan with a keen focus on progress tracking for key actions and deliverables.
  • Lead special projects from inception to completion, ensuring alignment with strategic and organizational objectives, and prepare and present project updates and reports to senior leadership.
  • Collaborate with various functions, across Cisco, to gather necessary information and resources for project execution.
  • Partner with members of the Legal Communications and Programming Team to complete Cisco Legal-wide programs.
  • Represent Cisco’s Legal Programs both internally with employees and externally with partner organizations.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • At a minimum, a BA/BS or equivalent experience and 7+ years of program management and strategy planning experience, preferably within a legal or compliance setting.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills to help shape the direction of work and identify data-driven recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Deep understanding of project management tools and solutions to effectively extrapolate, up-level, and organize information for executive presentations.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage sophisticated projects and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
