Development and maintenance of Honeywell legal entities customs standard operating procedures (SOP) including clearance instructions.
Support any internal or external customs audits.
Conduct Honeywell legal entities site audits and work corrective actions accordingly.
Work cooperatively and proactively across all functional areas to ensure compliance with all import & export customs laws and regulations, including determining importer and exporter of records, determination of preferential country of origin according to EU27/UK FTA’s.
Manage and maintain special customs regimes (Bonded Warehouse, Inward Processing Relief, etc.).
Provide guidance on Incoterms requirement from customs standpoint.
Act as the key trade focal between sites ISC (buyers, strategic sourcing), CX (customer service) & vendors/suppliers in terms of Customs matters.
Analyze and determine eligibility for certifications under Free Trade Agreements and Trade Preference Programs for imported goods.
Collect and analyze import and export data and support a recordkeeping program of the entry packages.
Make sure monthly trade reports (import and export) are sent to Honeywell.
Perform post entry audits according to Honeywell trade compliance standards and requirements
Key Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree or its equivalent (higher professional school).
1-5 years’ working experience in customs trade compliance, supply chain, logistics or a related field.
Advanced knowledge of English, both written and spoken.
Supply chain knowledge, either from education or work experience.
Advanced user of MS Office 365 (Power point, Excel, Word, MS teams).
A team player who enjoys working in a highly collaborative environment and has a high attention to detail.
