You’ll need to understand the category of products – Azure App Innovation, covering Azure App Service, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), GitHub (incl. Copilot), Visual Studio and more, to plan relevant GTM strategies, lead with insights with our sellers community, incl. technical experts, and empower Sales Territory Managers and Senior Sales Leaders, to take desired actions, that result in delivering goals defined as revenue target.

Required/Minimum Qualifications:

  • Extensive marketing strategy, business planning, sales enablement, business development, technical pre-sales, or related work experience.
    • OR equivalent experience
  • Experience taking products to market in new technology categories or relevant experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Sales/ go-to-market experience with software development background (DevOps, GitHub, Agile, etc)
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, both influencing peers to drive projects forward and senior leadership engagements
  • Understanding of Microsoft Azure services (ideally confirmed by certifications like Azure Fundamentals, Azure AI Fundamentals and Azure Data Fundamentals)
  • Experience in working in cross-regional role.
  • Experience in public speaking engagements
Responsibilities
  • Product Advocacy

Identifies and develops strategies to drive cross-selling scenarios and attach points across product/service area(s).

Provides guidance to sales in customer engagements (e.g., resources and programs, best practices for scaling, change management, and deal coaching for segments), and counsels partner practice leads.

  • Business Management

Leads regular cadence of connections with corporate (e.g., MCAPS Microsoft Customer and Partner Solutions; global sales, marketing, and operations, the business group, engineering) to execute strategic planning.

  • GTM Strategy, Planning, and Delivery

Land programs and investments with a solid ROI aligned to Corp and local priorities and drive Change management to accelerate growth.

Lead the team to deliver on targets by orchestrating execution and providing GTM objectives to drive marketing strategies for customer acquisition, acceleration, adoption and advocacy.

  • Field Enablement

Strategically activates the partner ecosystem to enable and drive results.

Identifies failure points and orchestrates resources to mitigate.

  • Business Development

Drives regular engagements with relevant executive stakeholders to develop and operationalize strategies and oversee implementation of cross-market solutions that drive strategic impact and increased market share, in line with area-specific service requirements (e.g., local regulatory compliance/programs).
