What you'll do:
As a Principal Content Designer at SAP, you'll specialize in creating onboarding and continued learning experiences using the WalkMe platform. You'll lead close collaboration with cross-functional teams to conceptualize and create intuitive, user-centric onboarding experiences that set a high standard for user engagement and satisfaction. Your role will involve crafting and refining the content strategy for adoption experiences, ensuring consistency and clarity across products. Leveraging your expertise in content design principles and user-centered design, you will develop and elevate the written content of our products' learning journeys, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable user experience.

You have many of the following characteristics:
You have a high-level, holistic, and human-centered view of content’s role in the customer experience and can articulate the importance of content in how a customer interacts with a product or service
You are experienced in using tools and software like Figma, Ditto, WalkMe, and Pendo to scale the implementation of content strategy for product design
You understand brand identity and can rapidly translate voice and tone guidelines into product content that contributes to a consistently positive customer experience
You believe in using research to back content design choices and can help envision how the research team can support the development of content strategy
You are skilled in building cross-functional alignment on content strategy by facilitating workshops with stakeholders, providing resources and training, and documenting decisions
You have a passion for innovation and a desire to push the boundaries of content design to elevate experiences to a new level
10+ years of experience in content design, UX writing, technical writing, or content strategy
Bachelor's degree in English, Technical Writing, Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or a related technical field such as Computer Science or Design. Master’s preferred
Expectations and tasks:
Take the lead in building a team that creates high-quality, user-centric content for onboarding and learning experiences, ensuring alignment with product goals and user needs
Lead collaboration with UX designers, product managers, and developers to integrate content seamlessly into product experiences
Lead in the development of product content design strategy to build out foundations for consistent content experiences
Conduct content reviews and provide constructive feedback
Develop and advocate for content design best practices that ensure consistency and scalability
Present content concepts and ideas clearly and persuasively to stakeholders
Mentor other content designers and UX writers, sharing knowledge and best practices
