As a Contracts and Project Accountant Support in Los Angeles, CA, you’ll assist the Contracts Manager in contract administration procedures consistent with Jacobs’ established policies and procedures and Contractor Payment Application/invoice processing, change management support, and monthly invoice processing. You’ll become fully integrated with the project core team and work with several team members to ensure the timely and accurate processing of monthly invoices.
- Review Design-Builder’s invoices in accordance with the contract terms and prepare for submittal to client, with Oversight by Contract Manager.
- Assist with month-end reporting on project performance including preparing specialized reports and accounting data for analysis.
- Communicating with the project team during the entire life cycle of the project and providing continuous support as needed.

- Experience in project accounting.
Ideally, you’ll also have:
- 3+ years of relevant experience.
- Associate's degree or degree in a relatable field.
- Familiarity with Design-Build contracting and/or Design for Design Build projects.
- Prior experience with an engineering firm working with public sector clients preferred.
- Experience with Construction /Program Management services contracts.
- MS Excel knowledge.
- Advanced analytical skills, accuracy and focus on details.
- Effective communication skills and a collaborative approach.
