Manage the availability of a mission-critical operation centre which requires a comprehensive approach that balances proactive maintenance, contingency planning, technology integration, and effective communication with the aim of minimizing downtime and ensuring uninterrupted operations. The Program manager’s role in overseeing the availability of such facilities encompasses the following critical responsibilities:
- Facility Design and Construction Management: Responsible for project manage the design and construction of new operation centre facilities, involving requirement gathering with stakeholders, budget management and vendor management.
- Manage related CAPEX and OPEX for the critical operation centre and Ensure cost-effective management of resources.
- To develop and manage a program team ensuring facility availability in a critical operations centre within a 24/7/365 operating environment.
- Develop and implement governance structures, processes and policies for Operation centre management. Ensure efficient operation and alignment with organizational objectives.
- Oversee facility management activities including asset management, maintenance, repairs, and security measures. Ensure operational continuity and safety within the SOC environment.
- Responsible for managing SOC physical security operations in collaboration with Physical Security team. This including monitoring, incident response, and threat intelligence collaboration with vendors and partners, to safeguard SOC infrastructure and data assets.
- Facilitate incident and problem management processes related to operation centre, including escalation procedures and root cause analysis. Minimize service disruptions and enhance operational resilience.
- Engage in mandatory audits related to SOC facilities per Tender and Microsoft requirements. Ensure compliance standards are met and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Stakeholder Communication & Documentation: Maintain clear communication with stakeholders and keep detailed records of maintenance activities and downtime incidents.
- Vendor and Budget Management: Manage relationships with vendors, optimize spending, and ensure timely responses for facility maintenance.
- Compliance, Safety, and Technology Integration: Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations, oversee safety protocols, and coordinate technology integration.
- Business Continuity & Infrastructure Planning: Develop and maintain business continuity and disaster recovery plans for the SOC. Coordinate with vendors and internal stakeholders to ensure preparedness for unforeseen events
