Job Description

FPP Strategy and Thought Leadership

  • Develop the organizational level Financial Patient Program (FPP) strategy & Roadmap across business units including in-line products and new products based on deep understanding of patients’ insights and Vietnam’s social, economic and healthcare environment.
  • Lead strong collaboration with In-country and Regional cross-functional stakeholders to align and developing highly impactful FPPs including Market Access, Regulatory Affairs, Medical Affairs, and Marketing both in-market and region.
  • Engage with external stakeholders, such as healthcare providers, payers, and government agencies, to advocate for patient access and address barriers.

FPP Design & The End-to-end Operation management

  • Design & implement innovative Means Test based FPP programs with disease, product/vaccine specific insights for Vietnam market
  • Design seamless operation and communication plans for FPPs to ensure all eligible patients get access to the programs, while adhering to compliance controls
  • Provide seamless overall patient experience in the end-to-end FPP’s process.
  • Work on operational improvement and new ideas along with the BU & LRB (Local Review Board)
  • Plan in-market pilots to test key hypotheses and improve programs based on pilot learnings and insights from key stakeholder including patients and HCPs
  • Work closely with BUD & field colleagues- KAMs , D&A team to improve on-ground execution of these programs
  • Establish governance to monitor the FPPs programs including designing, monitoring and achieving KPI
  • Oversee existing partners / vendors to ensure execution of patient programs is in line with the strategy and design that has initially been aligned with LT
  • Connect with partners on a regular basis to review and implement the action plan and ensure key metrics are in line with expected outcomes.
  • Work with the distribution network (distributors / stockists) to ensure all eligible patients receive timely therapy
  • Plan budgets for patient programs, including alignment with relevant Vietnam / Regional stakeholders. Closely monitor budget vs actuals for the vendors involved in patient Programs on monthly basis.

Compliance management

  • Uphold our company’s commitment to service patients with the highest degree of compliance and controls- Align the program to our company’s policy
  • Oversee and implement governance procedures and reporting for all FPPs to remain compliant with Scope of Work (SoW), PV and regulatory obligations.
  • Ensure that the PAE team members are documenting patient program specifics on a regular basis and are ready to present to / answer audit questions.
  • Ensure the FPP policy is complied with by all the vendors who support the programs

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & COMPETENCIES:

  • University graduation
  • At least +8 years working experience in Business or Market Access in pharma industry, successfully leading Patient access or FPP experience is preferred.
  • Patient cantered mindset and proven record of making patient impact in innovative way.
  • Strategic thinker with operational mindset-insight/data driven planning and execution experience
  • Strong operation/Project management skill-Purpose driven End-To-End Process design and execution experience, Customer Experience Management experience is preferred.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement skills -capable of working and relating with internal and external key stakeholders.
  • People management experience-leading diverse team members and develop high performing team.
  • Strong communication skills both in Vietnamese and English
  • High level of integrity-no record of non-compliance incidents
