You will be responsible for the project from planning,execution to the delivery to the customers. You will be involved in every aspect of the development life cycle,including negotiation with customers, estimate creation, planning, design,build, verification, flight test support and certification. You will cooperateclosely with global Honeywell resources and external suppliers to define andalign the design with the system / customer requirements.
Key responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day activities of the programs and coordinate development activities and meetings as required. Initiate, coordinate, maintain and analyze cost and schedule data.
- Coordinate the program team’s Risk, Change, and Resource Management processes and support the program with funding exercises, budget forecasting, etc.
- Support program level budgeting by coordinating the estimation and forecasting processes for program re-plans, risk mitigation activities, and change requests, as well as other management-driven requests.
- Program schedule maintenance using a variety of commercial and in-house tools and processes. Performing monthly variance analysis to cost and schedule baseline.
- Make initial recommendations to the Program team as it pertains to root cause / corrective action, as well as short term impacts to financial forecast and milestone fidelity. Control program metrics
Required qualifications:
- Bachelors/master’s degree in engineering field. (Aerospace/Mechanical would be desired).
- Excellent communications skills, with Project Management knowledge and great understanding of budgeting, financial analysis and cost validation, as well as program/project scheduling/statusing.
- Self-motivation and ability to work with little supervision, reliable and committed person.
- Excellent command of English language is mandatory (B2/C1) - communication in English (spoken and written) with team located in the US.
- Ability to cope with programmatic challenges as you will be working in emerging environment of Urban Air Mobility.
Desired qualifications:
- Technical Background and knowledge of electromechanical systems development would be a plus.
- Background in Aerospace Industry, knowledge of Standards (DO-178, DO-254, DO-160, ARP-4754).
- Experience in supporting and leading teams.
- PMP/PMI (Project Management Professional) Certification.
