Role Key Responsibilities:

• Optical design including visual performance, imaging optics, curved image planes, freeform optics, vignetting, optimization, tolerancing and manufacturability, micro displays, meta optics.
• Manufacturing deployment, dealing with manufacturing issues.
• You will be working in optical design tools such as Zemax and Code V.
• Perform photometric and spectral measurements.
• Occasional travel may be required.

Key Experience & Capabilities:

• PhDpreferred – Masters degree in Optical field or any relevant discipline.
• 3+ years of experience.
• Optical design experience including visual performance,imaging optics, curved image planes, freeform optics, vignetting, optimization,tolerancing and manufacturability, Micro displays, meta optics.
• Knowledge of optical design tools Zemax and Code V.
• Understanding of LCD displays and LED backlights.
• Familiar with photometers, spectroradiometers and other opticalinstruments.
