A CAD Technical Degree or equivalent AA degree • At least 20 years design/drafting and 3D modeling experience on civil projects • Experience with MicroStation, InRoads, OpenRoads, and/or AutoCAD, AutoCAD Civil 3D • Excellent written and verbal communication skills including the proficient use of MS Office tools (Word, Excel, etc.) • Ability to assist in managing department workload needs and staffing requests. • Planning and organizational skills with the ability to work under pressure on multiple project deadlines. • Demonstrated ability to see a project through to completion • Excellent attention to detail of complex civil design components Ideally, you’ll also have: • Experience with 3D surface modeling and/or roadway modeling is preferred • Experience with drawing management software, Bentley ProjectWise, is preferred • Ability to train and develop skills in both MicroStation and AutoCAD software platforms is preferred • Experience in managing staff and workloads is preferred
