As a vital member of our team, you’ll have the chance to work on a challenging project where we’ll depend on your expertise, intuition, and leadership with planning, directing, and monitoring all aspects of projects. You’ll be considered a key member of our team and be tasked with developing the civil design for transportation (highway/roadway/rail) related projects using local (State, County or City) or AASHTO standards at both conceptual and final design levels.
Using your experience, you’ll also do the following:
• Provide support for Highways projects
• Train new and existing staff on our Highways team
• Lead CADD efforts for projects ranging from production to design to cadd management
• Promote Jacobs quality control practices through all phases of design and plans production.
• Course study in Civil Engineering or CAD Certificate
• At least 10 years of consultant or public agency support experience
• Experience in preparing large multi-discipline PS&E packages
• Working knowledge of federal, state, and city guidelines
