Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field AND 3+ years technical experience in software engineering, network engineering, service engineering, or systems engineering
    • OR equivalent experience.
  • Working knowledge of technologies including JavaScript, Python, SQL, HTTP, HTML, JSON, cookies/sessions, REST, SAML, etc.
  • Experience designing and improving project management process and methodology.
  • 3+ years of client-facing technical experience.
  • Language fluency both in Japanese and English.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, OR related field AND 8+ years technical experience in software engineering, network engineering, service engineering, or systems engineering
    • OR equivalent experience.
  • Experience in online advertising industry; Knowledge of solutions offered by Microsoft Advertising, online advertising models (CPM, CPC, etc.) and ad operations.
  • Experience with big data platforms and large volume data analytics.
  • Experience with ad servers or other high volume, low latency services.
Responsibilities
  • You will act as trusted technical advisor to clients, field teams, and partners through deep understanding of the Microsoft Advertising Platform and online advertising industry.
  • You will establish deep client relationships with key technical and product decision makers to influence product adoption, grow share of wallet, and exceed client goals.
  • You will independently manage solutions across teams and with external partners while maintaining a high standard of quality. You’ll also create and monitor telemetry data and influence analytics to better identify patterns that reveal unexpected problems or opportunities.
  • You will respond to incidents and complex issues by identifying and troubleshooting the issue, ensuring the deployment of appropriate fixes, and implementing process or tooling to prevent recurring issues. You’ll also follow prescriptive guidance for security, privacy, and compliance standards.
  • You will collaborate within and across teams by proactively and systematically sharing information. You’ll also resolve conflicts across teams and engage with partners to meet mutual objectives.
  • You will improve the development and operations of related sets of systems, platforms, or products by sharing insights and best practices. You’ll do this by continually developing your understanding of insights and best practices, and by mentoring other team members.
