This role is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the Network teams in support of Cloud and Hybrid platforms, notably AWS and Azure
Finding and improving operational efficiencies to best suit Cloud network delivery for customers, both internal and external
Support of production workloads within a multi-Cloud environment, including but not limited to monitoring, patching, backup, and high availability of network infrastructure.
Design and delivery of Hybrid and Cloud Networking for partner solutions.
Implementation of customer connectivity requirements and facilitating access to company products and services
Optimize the overall network operations process by creating automation solutions, reducing Human Toil and improving overall work standards.
Manage request fulfillment and escalation for networking ticket queues
Assist with migrations to cloud, ensuring best practices are followed and architecture is compliant with company and compliance standards.
Oversee in the implementation of network monitoring systems for event monitoring, alerting and metrics.
Discover opportunities and help facilitate a mechanism to change, evolve, improve, and simplify the network infrastructure and supporting processes/procedures.
Directly interface with support, engineering, and product teams across all disciplines, to facilitate a closer relationship for collaborative implementations and knowledge sharing.
Delivering actionable KPIs and SLAs/SLOs for the global network
Engage in our Blameless Post-Mortem process for continually improving network processes and products
Qualifications and Skills
Overall, 12-15 years of experience with 4-8 years of Team Handling & Management experience.
Strong Experience in building and leading network operations teams for both hybrid and cloud environments
Strong experience with software-defined networking and virtualization concepts
Experience in running production Cloud services related to one or more Cloud providers including IaaS, PaaS and SaaS – AWS, Azure, GCP
Good understanding of IAAS and CI/CD such as Ansible, Terraform, Harness, Jenkins, GitHub etc
Good understanding of general DevOps principles and ways of working
Experience with monitoring and log aggregation tools such as Datadog, Cloudwatch etc, especially relating to network infrastructure
Demonstrated experience leading a critical production team, especially in a SAAS and/or 24x7 environment
