Responsibilities:
Own, drive and co-ordinate the period-end closing activities & controlsframework. Deliver & own process controls for various tools/systems used to supportoperations Ensure timely submissions of domestic/international tax packs & quarterlysupplemental US GAAP reporting /WBs for all entities in the country/region.
Ensure strong controls in place and drive remediation action.
Execute key controls including reviewing high-risk account reconciliation andleading material Balance Sheet Review, and ensure timely remediation of controlrisks.
Manage deliverables with external statutory and/or tax auditors. Coordinate andsupport all internal and external audits.
Oversee the deliverables from BPO partners delivering GA operations. Hiring & onboarding of new joiners Career progression/planning/rewards &recognition
Support in-country leadership with activities related to mergers /acquisitions/ spin offs/divestitures due diligence & integration planning.
Partner /support SBG controllers with tasks in connection withacquisitions/spin offs / accounting standard implementation etc.
Partner /support in-country with statutory audit tasks/deliverables, as needed
Lead and deploy HON finance hub strategy and model for entities being moved tocommon SAP platform. Ensure alignment with the targeted model and keystakeholders
Oversee and ensure successful deployment of transition/transformation projectsin GFC.
Drive Controllership HOS initiatives and improve process effectiveness,consistency, standardization and productivity by leveraging technology.
