Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Physics, Optics, Electrical Engineering or equivalent fields
  • Coding skills with object-oriented programming languages (Python, Matlab, C++, etc.)
  • Experience with experimental evaluation of photonic components and/or systems.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master’s/PhD degree in Physics, Optics, Electrical Engineering or equivalent fields
  • Proven track record of designing and building complex test setups for optoelectronic devices/systems
  • Deep understanding in optoelectronic devices/systems physics and evaluation
  • Experience in measuring components or packaged modules in challenging dynamic environment, including varying temperature, humidity and strain
  • Hands-on experience in characterizing passive and active on-chip optical devices, including MUX, DC, phase shifters, etc
  • Hands-on experience with various test equipment, such as tunable laser, OSA, VNA, LCR, SMU, and others
  • Analytical experience with statistical data analysis and Six Sigma methodology in a production environment
  • Experience with Wafer-Level testing and/or high-speed optoelectronics
Pay & Benefits
  • At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $143,100 and $214,500, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Note: Apple benefit, compensation and employee stock programs are subject to eligibility requirements and other terms of the applicable plan or program.
