As a Qualcomm Software Engineer, you will design, develop, create, modify, and validate embedded and cloud edge software, applications, and/or specialized utility programs that launch cutting-edge, world class products that meet and exceed customer needs. Qualcomm Software Engineers collaborate with systems, hardware, architecture, test engineers, and other teams to design system-level software solutions and obtain information on performance requirements and interfaces.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience.

Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 1+ year of Software Engineering or related work experience.

PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.

• 2+ years of academic or work experience with Programming Language such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc.

Job Overview

The work scope includes but not limit to:

• Qualcomm robotic reference platform development.

• Robotics general sensor technology or driver development like 3D LiDAR, depth sensor.

• Robotics general sensor algorithm development like LIO, 3D LiDAR mapping.

• Sensor fusion.

• Robotic simulation and KPI measurement tools development like Real2Sim.

• Co-work with global teams to identify issues and fix bugs.

Minimum Qualifications.

• 3+ years embedded Linux or MCU experience.

• Familiar RTOS/ROS/ROS2.

• Familiar Linux driver development.

• Familiar robotics general sensor or driver related technology

• Familiar with robotics general sensor or sensor fusion algorithm

• Good sense of responsibility and teamwork

Preferred Qualifications

• Good C/C++/Python language skill.

• Familiar 3D LiDAR mapping or LIO algorithm is a plus.

• Familiar Real2Sim is a plus.

• Experience on four-wheel-based robot or Humanoid robot product is a plus.

Education Requirements

Required: Bachelor's, Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering or Control Engineering with 6+ years’ experiences.

Preferred: Master's, Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering or Control Engineering with 3+ years’ experiences.
