Your Role and ResponsibilitiesIBM APAC Executive & Internal Communications Professional
IBM seeks a dynamic and experienced Executive and Internal Communications professional to join the APAC Brand, Communications and Social team. Keen understanding of the technology market, excellent understanding of stakeholder communication; astute knowledge of executive communication and social media are prerequisites for the role. With strong managerial skills, the successful candidate, working collaboratively with the APAC team will build a powerful brand presence for IBM in APAC.
Key responsibilities- Conceptualize and execute internal communication strategies to engage and motivate employees to be brand ambassadors.
- Establish and execute executive communications strategy in consultation with business unit leader.
- Ensure organizational initiatives and projects are successfully communicated to employees and stakeholders.
- Plan, edit and write content for a variety of internal communications mediums.
- Develop aligned, consistent messages applying communications techniques with a strong storytelling approach.
- Support teamwork and collaboration for Brand, Communications and social campaigns planning and execution.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
- This role requires deep understanding of the of Executive & Internal Communications discipline:
- Extensive experience in strategizing and executing plans that engage an organisation’s employees and business leaders.
- Ability to build deep relationships with business unit leaders and drive successful change management programs.
- Highly skilled in developing strong narratives that align to APAC’s National Agendas.
- Able to identify gaps and execute internal tactics to close the gaps favourably.
- Competent in acting as a strategic advisor to senior management and global leaders.
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
- 7 – 10 years of experience in internal and executive communications
- 1-2 years experience in driving digital media strategy preferred.
- Strategic and critical thinker
- Excellent and experienced writer and content creator.

- Innovator who thrives in fast-paced/ambiguous environments.
- Curious researcher. Education qualifications
- Preferred bachelor’s or master’s Degree/MBA (candidates with proven experience will be considered).
- Expert in spoken and written standard English.
- Candidates from journalism background will be considered.
- Relevant certifications in Public Relations and Communications field.
