About the Role

​​This will be a hybrid position requiring 2.5 days a week average in the CDMX office.

What You'll Do

• Manage day-to-day localization of Uber products and content across all supported languages, from project creation, tracking, and resolving vendor queries to delivery of localized content
• Interface vendor PMs for day-to-day project duties and ensure smooth execution of tasks
• Identify and manage project risks and communicate project status including metrics
• Work on miscellaneous team projects & initiatives as needed by LPgMs & leads
• Possibility to manage programs of small/medium complexity of your own

Basic Qualifications

• BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience
• 2 years of localization project management experience in high-tech industry, preferably on the client side
• Great understanding of localization and internationalization issues, with ability to educate others
• Self-directed - ability to take initiative in identifying and solving large problems
• Ability to navigate ambiguity, work independently and be able to chart direction of projects/program
• Experience using CAT tools, TMSs as a project manager and bug routing and ticket management tools such as JIRA and Phabricator
• Very detail-oriented, quality-focused and proactive
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills (whether with vendors or stakeholders) and the ability to manage multiple projects & LQAs simultaneously
• Ability to learn new tools/systems quickly
• Excellent team player
