Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain your expertise with the Salesforce Platform and the ISV partner tools and developer experience.

  • Create sample apps, code samples, prototypes, and visually compelling demos that inspire our ISV partners to build on and adopt the Salesforce Platform.

  • Produce on-demand and live-streamed videos, and write technical content including blogs and thought leadership.

  • Support virtual and in-person events with technical talks, demonstrations and workshops.

  • Work closely with product, engineering, and other cross-functional teams as the “voice of ISV developer” to influence the future of products.

  • Engage with the Salesforce ISV developer community on Salesforce owned and other channels including the Salesforce Partner Community, Reddit, LinkedIn, YouTube, the Salesforce Developer Relations channel and more.

  • Work alongside our Partner Marketing team to build new channels (including blog series, podcasts, socials, and more).

Minimum Qualifications

  • 7+ years experience in a developer relations, advocacy, or evangelist role or 7+ year experience developing on the Salesforce Platform, preferably as a product leader/developer at one of our ISVs.

  • Deep understanding and passion for the needs of enterprise developers that build on Salesforce.

  • Profound understanding of business use cases around the Salesforce Platform

  • Proven technical expertise in web applications, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Apex, and APIs.

  • Experience with Data Cloud, Agentforce, or other emerging Salesforce Platform technologies is a plus.

  • Solid experience in crafting engaging video content.

  • Excellent presentation, interpersonal, and communication skills and experience making complex technical concepts accessible and understandable.

  • Solid understanding and appreciation for the constant and rapid shift in how and where people consume content and share their experiences.

  • Certifications or equivalent hands-on technical experience related to development with Salesforce, preferably as an ISV.

  • Drive to be a solo self-starter and a highly collaborative team player.

  • Passion for learning and working with new technologies.

  • A strategic mind and deep problem solving and analytical skills.

  • Ability to travel 20%.

  • Degree or equivalent confirmed experience required. Experience will be evaluated based on the core proficiencies for the role (e.g. extracurricular leadership roles, military experience, volunteer roles, work experience, etc.).

Note: This role is Office-Flexible, with the expectation that you will work in-person at a Salesforce office three days per week.

Pursuant to the San Francisco Fair Chance Ordinance and the Los Angeles Fair Chance Initiative for Hiring, Salesforce will consider for employment qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records. For New York-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $202,700 to $293,900. For Washington-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $185,500 to $268,900. For California-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $202,700 to $293,900. Compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Certain roles may be eligible for incentive compensation, equity, benefits.
