As a Product Engineer (NPI), you will be effectively engaged in the New Product Introduction process of the reticle defect inspection product line. Main application will be within thesemiconductor/electronicsindustry.The main job scope for this role is as follows:
- Reduce program serviceability risk by acting as the Voice of Service throughout the Product Life Cycle (PLC) for new products by developing a service strategy that encompasses.
- Build technical system expertise on assigned subsystem and its diagnostics capability. Become a technical expert in the assigned subsystem's integration into the overall system with a hands-on approach and system engineering mindset.
- Influence design improvement and submit/track feature requests for diagnostics and serviceability. Collaborate and resolve technical problems during the new product life cycle.
- Contribute to the service alert meetings and Plan of Action (POA) development for critical issues and other sustaining activities. Capture and document Best Known Method (BKM) and other improvements into knowledge database.
- Support Alpha and Beta Systems, as well as Retrofit upgrades.
- Actively manage and support alpha & beta installs in-person by auditing procedures, updating existing documents, identifying training gaps, and solving unforeseen problems as they arise to drive continuous improvement for future installs and upgrades.
- Ability to work in clean room environment with clean room gear.
