What you'll do
This is a GTM/Business development role with responsibilities to the GTM strategy for RISE PE CDC deployment option in your respective support the sales teams during the entire cycle of a RISE with SAP Cloud deal. Following are the key tasks that this role will perform:
- GTM lead for RISE PE CDC.
- Understand customers’ business transformation requirements to the cloud to create a roadmap for the journey to the Cloud through Cloud ERP RISE solution.
- Regular engagement with Global Strategic Technology partners (Infra partners for PE CDC) and the broader SAP partner ecosystem (GSSPs, VAR, PartnerEgde...etc.) to construct the best solution/offer and business outcome to customers.
- Coordinate across multiple SAP internal teams (Product, Architects, commercial teams...) to bring RISE PE CDC to customers across Industry segments.
- Empower Front Office colleagues and help educate customers on the CDC deployment model. Articulate our competitive advantage to customers and prospects.
- Generate pipeline and convert opportunities to grow the RISE PE CDC business in their respective regions.
What you bring
- Bachelor’s / master’s degree in engineering or computer science
- 15+ years of customer facing experience.
- Good knowledge of both SAP software portfolio and the underlying infrastructure to deploy this s/w on cloud.
- Good understanding of S/4HANA Cloud solution offerings
- Domain experience in one or more SAP Industry solution
- Customer Focused and Flexible time for global coverage.
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Good team player
- Experience with large, multi-national software/IT organizations and with a demonstrated expertise of S/4HANA Cloud (e.g. through software Sales/ Presales, Solution Management and/or Consulting roles) with good knowledge of IaaS infrastructure.
- Experience working with SAP partner ecosystem especially with Global Strategic Technology Partners (HPE, Dell, Lenovo...Etc.).
- Experience working with very large customers in Industry segments like Restricted Industries, Utilities and Public sector.
- Experience in SaaS/ IaaS models and working with large cloud providers.
RISE Private Edition, Customer Data Center (CDC) Option is one of 3 deployment models (others are SAP DC & Hyperscalers) catering to the customer segment with unique requirements of Data Resiliency & Residency, Security & compliance needs that are mandated by their government or Industry, adhere to national security standards and for those customers who own DC assets and would like to continue to leverage this.
Highlights of RISE with SAP S/4HANA Cloud, Private Edition, Customer Data Center (CDC) Option are:
- Built on customer provided data center so organizations can run core SAP applications in the cloud on their premise.
- Built on the same SAP reference architecture as the other Cloud ERP RISE deployments models like Hyperscaler & SAP DC deployment models.
- Provides access to all new product innovations from SAP including Business AI.
- SAP provides built-in operations and management capabilities, leading to efficient operations and effective management of the customer’s landscape.
- Private cloud built for mission critical operations with no trade off on performance, integration, security, failover and disaster recovery.
- GTM Lead will be part of the Global Cloud ERP RISE organization within the Cloud ERP RISE PE CDC team, bringing the RISE PE CDC deployment model to customers in their respective regions/ MUs.
