As a Major Account Executive, you will be responsible for:
- Fostering long term relationships through positioning valued solutions to meet your customers unique needs.
- Maintaining sales pipeline, accurate monthly and quarterly forecasting. Managing contract renewals. Minimising lost revenue and churn.
- Prospecting and acquiring new customers. Upselling & Cross selling the Akamai portfolio to your install base.
- Working with integrated cross-functional teams to ensure your customers realise the Value of their Akamai services.

To be successful in this role you will:
- Have relevant sales experience working with strategic organisations.
- Have experience selling enterprise-class technology software, SaaS, internet-based technology solutions to enterprise class companies.
- Demonstrate experience of account management with short term and long term planning, selling value at C-Level.
- Demonstrate a good understanding of technology and the Internet, including cyber security and Cloud.
- Have experience working in a collaborative, results oriented environment building executive level relationships with high-level customers.
- Have good written and verbal communication skills with a fluency in both German and English.
