you will be a solution sales expert within our enterprise sales organization working with our most important customers on Databases, Analytics and AI.  You will collaborate with a team of technical, partner, and consulting resources to advance the sales process and exceed quarterly Data & AI revenue targets in your assigned accounts. ​

Qualifications
  • 4+ years technology-related sales or account management experience
    • OR Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, or related field AND 2+ year(s) technology-related sales or account management experience
    • OR equivalent experience
  • Public Cloud certifications in Data and AI preferred
Responsibilities
  • Role modelling and demonstrating customer and partner obsession through customer business outcomes leveraging solution area expertise
  • Providing an impactful point of view (POV) where Industry Solutions (IS) can accelerate consumption, aligned to solution area expertise into Account planning cycles
  • Accelerating Cloud growth: Working seamlessly with the wider account team, building and strengthening relationships across the Microsoft teams to drive consumption through Industry Solutions projects and programs
  • You will learn how Microsoft's 3-cloud-platform can enable digital transformation areas and support team members on digital transformation opportunities in an assigned area by applying established process and activities.
  • You will receive leads from Marketing and convert leads into opportunities for the supported business.
  • You will learn and apply Microsoft's sales process (MSP) to determine the quality of the opportunity and whether to proceed.
  • You will collaborate with One Commercial Partner (OCP) and other assigned partners to cross-sell and up-sell products, solutions, and services and understand the ecosystem of the partners in a solution area.
  • Establishes relationships with internal stakeholders and learn about the direct competitors for the assigned products, solutions, and/or services.
  • You will seek client feedback (both formal and informal) to identify and understand the drivers of satisfaction and execute plans to maintain and continue to build on it and to identify and understand the drivers of dissatisfaction, determine the root cause of problems and establish recovery action plan to improve clients' overall experience.
  • Learns the strategic priorities of the assigned solution area and assists in deal closure.
