Demonstrated teamwork and collaboration abilities to contribute to managing high quality projects delivered on-time and within budget will be key factors to your success. Your project responsibilities will vary depending on the scale of the project. For example, you may serve as the one site lead, working directly with clients and project stakeholders on one project, while supporting a team as an assistant project manager on another and will direct the efforts of owners’ consultants, designers and builders. You'll also be responsible for preparing and maintaining reports, meeting minutes, correspondence, logs, invoices, financial spreadsheets and project schedules.

Here's what you'll need
  • Bachelor Degree
  • Previous Jacobs PMCM Intern experience
  • Knowledge of materials, methods and techniques used in building construction
  • Ability to recognize faulty construction or hazardous conditions
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and a working knowledge of scheduling software
  • Demonstrated interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • OSHA 10 certification or the ability to obtain within 30 days of hire

Ideally, you’ll also have

  • Previous experience working on construction projects in the Higher Education sector
  • Knowledge of the Connecticut State Building Codes and related references
