DESCRIPTION

This position involves frequent lifting of materials and products (of up to 18 kgs). Responsibilities include manual tasks, such as assembling, addressing, stamping and arranging for the shipment of merchandise and materials. They will also coordinate daily scheduling of deliveries and collections to and from multiple locations. In handling incoming shipments, they will have to unpack boxes and verify contents. The Logistics Specialist will be required to keep precise records of all commodities going in and out of company locations.Diverse Experiences

- Work closely with Data Centre Operations Technicians and Data Centre Engineers to fulfill parts quickly and accurately- Receiving/shipping parts logically and physically, ensuring our Inventory management system is up to date and accurate at all times
- Receipt of all Inventory & non-Inventory items on procurement system and resolve Invoice discrepancies
- Responsible for accurate data entry and resolving questions from peer organizations- Reverse Logistics; interface directly with vendors to process RMAs and receive replacements

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 1+ years’ experience as a logistics professional supporting inventory cycle counts, shipments, maintenance, stock control functions and reverse logistics
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Able to lift loads of up to 18kgs and must hold a valid driving license


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Experience of working within a complex logistics set-up with Inventory Management Systems and tools
- Good knowledge of IT and network equipme
