We’re looking for fresh ideas on how to connect leaders in new ways and create meaningful communications that promote associate engagement and drive value for the business. You will be responsible for evaluating opportunities, driving communications strategies from start to finish, and preparing content for internal audiences. You should be knowledgeable in providing communications counsel that is backed by channel metrics and associate feedback, comfortable and well-versed in speaking to leadership teams, and willing to partner with HR, chiefs of staff, and other stakeholders to most effectively drive communications. Additionally, you’ll support large scale projects, events, and internal campaigns. Judgment, influencing and problem solving are your superpowers. Key responsibilities will include:
Develop and implement a communications strategy that: 1. helps build your leaders’ brand internally, and 2. brings their organization and US Card narratives to life.
Be a creative storyteller who curates engaging experiences including leadership gatherings, all-employee meetings, digital/video storytelling and special events.
Serve as a strategic partner to other executive communicators and chiefs of staff to plan and prepare effective, thoughtful, and engaging internal communications that educate, inform, connect with, and inspire leaders and employees.
When necessary, lead change management communications in support of the business.
Draft leader talking points and review presentations.
Provide counsel on communicating business strategy, elevating leadership profiles, managing issues, and implementing corporate initiatives.
Evaluate performance for communications based on real-time metrics and other leading key performance indicators; recommend refinements to communications strategies, messaging, and new feedback mechanisms, as needed, based on ongoing assessments.
Partner with and influence internal partners as needed in the best interests of the business and its employees.

Strong business acumen and customer-orientation and proven track record of collaborative work relationships.

Excellent writing and story-telling skills.
The ability to distill complex content into clear, concise, and engaging communications.
Experience managing issues, crisis communications, and organizational change communications.
Outstanding time management and organizational skills, with an ability to consistently execute multiple, and sometimes competing, activities and complex projects to high quality conclusion, on-time.
Highly motivated - an eagerness to learn and become an expert on the business to better inform your communications strategy and deliverables

Creator:You’re a strong, autonomous leader who is able to establish a vision and deliver it through our key partners - and you can work your creative muscle in developing communications and campaigns that grab attention and get results.
Strategist:You have a deep understanding of where the team wants to go and can develop the communications strategy to help them get there.
Project Leader:You’re detailed- and process-oriented, with a natural tendency to identify and mitigate risks. You’re experienced managing several projects and initiatives at once.

Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree or military experience
At least 5 years of experience in developing and implementing integrated communication strategies to drive organizational change
Preferred Qualifications:
Outstanding communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
Strong business acumen and executive presence with a history of cultivating trusting relationships with executive leaders.
The ability to distill complex and sometimes voluminous content into clear, concise and engaging communications.
Experience leveraging data to create and execute communications strategies, plans, programs and events.
