Who you’ll be working with:

We are looking for an exceptional and passionateto establish and lead aC++ development team, working on IP protocols and deep packet inspection solutions.

As a Cognyter you will:

• Hire, lead and manage a team, providing technical guidance and support
• Be the Scrum Master for the team, facilitating daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives
• Perform code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards, best practices, and quality standards
• Lead the design of the features
• Monitor the execution of tasks and ensure timely completion of project milestones
• Identify and address any blockers or impediments that may arise during the development process, taking proactive steps to resolve them
• Facilitate effective communication and collaboration within the team, as well as with other stakeholders
• Coach and mentor team members to enhance their technical skills and promote professional growth
• Foster a positive and collaborative team environment, promoting innovation, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement

For that mission you’ll need:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
• Proven experience in establishing and leading development teams
• Proficiency in Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum, and experience as a Scrum Master
• Extensive hands-on experience in C++ development, including code reviews
• Knowledge of IP networking and protocols (all OSI layers)
• Strong understanding of software development principles, methodologies, and best practices
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to quickly identify and resolve technical issues in a large-scale and complex systems
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders
• Proven ability to multitask, prioritize work effectively, and meet project deadlines
• A passion for technology, a self-driven attitude, and a continuous learning mindset
• Willingness to travel abroad
• Fluent verbal & written communication in English
