The Sustainability Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring the environmental and social aspects of the organization's Sustainability strategy. The primary focus would be on the Production, Product, Supply Chain and Social aspects of Sustainability for the Global Flash Backend Operations
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a sustainability strategy that aligns with the organization's vision, mission, and values
- Conduct sustainability assessments and audits to identify and measure the environmental and social performance of the organization
- Implement and manage sustainability initiatives and programs, such as energy efficiency, water withdrawal initiatives, waste reduction, carbon footprint reduction, green procurement, life cycle analysis, circularity, social responsibility, and stakeholder engagement
- Work with Corporate Sustainability team in the preparation and communication of sustainability reports and disclosures, such as SBTi, GRI, CDP, SDGs, etc to display the organization's sustainability achievements and challenges
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness and impact of the sustainability initiatives and programs, and provide feedback and recommendations for improvement
- Research and analyse the latest trends, best practices, and innovations in sustainability, and propose innovative ideas and solutions to enhance the organization's sustainability performance
- Develop and promote sustainability policies in alignment with relevant standards and practices.
- Leverage on 4IR technologies to improve sustainability performance.
- Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, such as senior management, employees, customers, suppliers, regulators, and communities, and collaborate with them to promote and support sustainability initiatives and programs
- Educate and train employees and other stakeholders on sustainability issues and practices, and foster a culture of sustainability within the organization
