Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years technical experience in network design, development, and automation
  • OR Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Optical Engineering, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field AND 2+ years technical experience in network design, development, and automation
  • OR Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Optical Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field AND 1+ year(s) technical experience in network design, development, and automation
• 1+ years experience in understanding and authoring machine-readable formatslike XML, JSON
• 1+ years experienced in debugging and troubleshooting deep network issues and drafting root cause analysis reports

Other Requirements:

• Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:
• Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud Background Check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

  • OR Doctorate Degree in Electrical Engineering, Optical Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology,
  • OR related field

• Monitor network telemetry and perform basic analyses to triangulate failures, with guidance from other engineers.
• Make suggestions on possible improvements to monitoring based on observations.
• Assist with the design processes or technology solutions that resolve issues.
• Contribute to testing and validation of network devices.
• Work within a team of engineers to manage network deployments, and provide instructions to data center or network site staff/technicians on how to repair, replace, and maintain physical network hardware and components deployed in production.
• Proactively seek mentorship, feedback, and coaching from others to improve your skills and knowledge.
