Responsibilities
Contribute to the project from design to implementation.
Collaborate with internal business units and stakeholders and understand the requirements for delivering efficiently.
Automate repetitive tasks to reduce implementation time and avoid failure due to human error.
Participate in periodic on-call rotation for network incident support, quickly mitigate impact and restore service availability through a software enabled toolset.
Evangelize best network engineering practices and processes within and across teams.
Monitor network telemetry and perform basic analyses to triangulate failures, with guidance from other engineers. You make suggestions on possible improvements to monitoring based on observations. You also assist with the design processes or technology solutions that resolve issues.
Contribute to testing and validation of network devices. You work within a team of engineers to manage network deployments, and provide instructions to data center or network site staff/technicians on how to repair, replace, and maintain physical network hardware and components deployed in production.
Lastly, proactively seek mentorship, feedback, and coaching from others to improve your skills and knowledge.
