Key job responsibilities
- Owning the delivery of test strategies and results to support development and deployment of new robotic and automated solutions.
- Scoping, managing, and delivering multiple technical projects in parallel from concept to production- Evaluating and identifying improvements to the overall test processes- Interfacing with engineering managers, product management, and/or program management to create test strategies to inform development and verify requirements.A day in the life
You will work daily with our development team throughout the development cycle providing data to inform design decisions and ultimately verifying that all product requirements are met. This happens at your computer writing test plans, in the labs gathering data, designing and building new fixtures, helping to debug early prototypes, developing new methodologies, and looking into the future. - BS / MS Mechanical Engineering (or similar field)
- 10+ yrs of experience in mechanical engineering
- 3+ years of management experience
- 3+ years in testing related role
- Familiar with industry standard CAD & FEA tools, industry trends, sensors
- Demonstrated ability to manage and motivate an engineering team
- Ability to manage a process driven testing mentality, driven to the highest standards
- Commitment to rigorous testing & validation practices
- Experience with the project management of technical projects a plus
- Strong organizational and planning skills
- Excellent written (white papers) and oral communication skills
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Robotics and/or automation Experience
- Proven track record of testing products for industrial use
- Experience managing challenging assignments and schedules
- Desire to work in a fast-paced environment
