What You’ll Do What You’ll Bring
- Manage equipment projects from concept to production, including design, validation, and ramp-up
- Design schematics and layout for industrial electrical control panels which are CE compliant and satisfy the Low voltage directive, EMC Directive and Machinery Directive.
- Design and upgrade equipment, conveyors, tooling, fixtures, and machine stations.
- Define requirements for outsourced tooling and equipment, collaborate with vendors, and establish Tesla standards
- Use tools like Minitab/JMP for data analysis to improve processes and performance.
- Partner with Operations, Safety, Quality, and Process Engineering teams to achieve production goals
- Implement reliable industrial safety systems (OSHA, ISO, CE and NEN standards) to safeguard high voltage and mechanical hazards
Degree in Mechatronics or Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience
- 3+ years of experience in mechanical/electrical systems and custom machine-building
- Expertise in EPLAN, SolidWorks, automation systems, PLCs, robotics, and electromechanical components
- Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities in a dynamic environment
- Passionate about optimizing manufacturing equipment and processes, and be hands-on in the manufacturing environment
