Who You Are

You are curious, driven, and capable of bringing clarity to ambiguous situations. You are a technical seller with a solid understanding of Hybrid Cloud and Data Centre products, and how to combine and integrate them. You can convert your deep technical expertise into a language that your customers can easily absorb and repeat. In addition to technical proficiency and the ability for accelerated learning, you have social, presentation, interpersonal and problem-solving skills that evoke passion and confidence.

• You excel in understanding and positioning the technologies that lie at the heart of modern AI-Ready Data Centres and get really fired up when discussing AI Infrastructure, Hybrid Cloud, Infrastructure as Code, and Application Infrastructures.
• You’ll know the Cisco Cloud & AI Infrastructure portfolio or have competed against Cisco. When we say AI Pods, UCS, Hyperfabric, MDS, Nexus or ACI you’ll smile and be able to say “I know what these are, let me tell you more”.

Required Knowledge and Experience:

• 4 - 6 years' of experience in a pre sales environment and industry knowledge of relevant solutions sets, product line specifications, performance criteria and applications.
• Knowledge of any combination of Datacenter, Compute, Storage, Apps, Converged Infrastructure, AI infrastructure or Data Center Networking experience preferred.
• Excellent presentation skills – ability to deliver engaging workshops to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills: ability to assess a problem and recommend an effective course of action

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field. Advanced degree is a plus.
• Cisco certification - CCNA, CCNP or CCIE
• Certifications in areas such as Cloud, Container, Virtualization, Machine Learning or Artificial Intelligence are a plus
