Your key responsibilities
- Collaborate across EY's interdisciplinary framework, encompassing Markets, Technology Consulting, and Business Consulting, to craft comprehensive market approaches that encompass cloud strategy, desired operational frameworks, and architectural design. Proactively support client conversations to identify where our Cloud propositions can help address the real challenges they are facing.
- Support the relationship with EY’s cloud provider alliances & other ecosystem partners, shaping joint solutions to address our clients challenges
- Guide client partnerships to navigate a secure and expedited cloud transition, connecting with top-level stakeholders and collaborating with the client's extensive cloud-focused teams.
- Proactively support internal initiatives to build assets in relation to Cloud strategy, App & Data migration, patterns for successfully scaling AI on Cloud, hybrid architectures, cybersecurity combining your expertise with industry leading practices.
Skills and attributes for success
- A natural technical leader that is proficient in articulating the benefits and challenged of cloud adoption in Financial Services, including senior non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work with Senior stakeholders with the aims to pragmatic solutions to address technical and business challenges in adopting cloud.
- Identifying opportunities for and securing new business, including leading proposals and bid teams.
- Empower your autonomy or join forces with a team, delivering high-quality results that are tailored to meet the unique needs of our clients, in an environment that celebrates and supports women's success and leadership.
- Experience in directing a geographically distributed delivery team on all aspects of cloud, and to engage with client stakeholders to oversee implementation progress.
- Work with all key cloud service offerings to provide our clients with a holistic cloud experience, bringing the best of multiple areas of EY.
Mandatory experience
- Experience of working in cloud adoption elements such as defining cloud strategies, shaping and rolling out cloud operating models or defining cloud architectures across the financial services sector with a preference for delivering consulting services to financial services organisations.
- Deep experience in one or more areas and broad understanding of others – Application modernisation on Cloud, Infrastructure modernisation, Network modernisation, DevSecOps, Data modernisation, Security on cloud, AI on Cloud, Cloud Risk & Controls.
- Experience in performing current state analysis, driving agreement on target state, deriving roadmap and performing total cost of ownership analysis.
- Consulting background and ability to articulate cloud adoption elements at senior stakeholders level
Desirable experience
- Cloud Service Provider certifications
- Experience in cloud migration and data center exits
- Enterprise Architecture, Infrastructure, or Operations background
- DevOps, agile, and CICD proficiency
- Cloud security and hands-on engineering experience
- Knowledge of PaaS, SaaS, IaaS, and various cloud architectures
- Understanding of risk frameworks and UK financial cloud regulations
