Responsibilities not limited to;
- Develop strategies to reduce energy consumption and carbon emissions.
- Preparing inspection plans and electrical examinations on lampposts in the country according to road classifications.
- Prepare periodic maintenance programs for all components of lamps, including lamps, pregnant women, columns, cables, and Feeder Pillars.
- Preparing periodic programs to install lampposts in dark areas and streets in coordination with the Public Works Authority.
- Collaborate closely with urban planners, architects, electrical contractors, and municipal authorities to develop comprehensive lighting strategies for diverse urban spaces, from residential streets to major highways, parks, and public squares.
- Working within the team of specialists with consulting firms based on the preparation of studies for management.
- Preparing technical reports, speeches, and visual presentations on the work of the Department and discussing it with those concerned with the Ministry.
- Staying updated on emerging technologies and innovations in transportation and assessing their potential applications.

- As a successful candidate, you will have the opportunity to showcase your expertise and make a significant impact on Qatar's vital street lighting structure.
- With your degree from a recognized university in an appropriate field such as Engineering, combined with a minimum of 10 years of experience and specialization in lighting design, electrical engineering, and hands on experience on street lighting projects.
- In-depth understanding of electrical schematics and lighting plans along with knowledge of various light sources (LED, HID, fluorescent) and their characteristics.
- Your bilingual skills will enable you to effectively communicate complex technical concepts, engage in meaningful discussions, and build strong relationships with clients and team members from diverse cultural backgrounds.
- Your proficiency in project management methodologies and tools will empower you to streamline processes and ensure timely and effective project execution.
