In this role, you will…
- Collaborate with other department leaders to define, prioritize, and develop projects.
- Plan project management, including setting deadlines, prioritizing tasks, and assigning team members to various deliverables.
- Analize financial data, including project budgets, risks, and resource allocation.
- Develop business cases and provides financial tracking reports and budget outlines to upper management and key stakeholders.
- Oversee the development of the project and ensuring that team members are carrying out their tasks efficiently while upholding the company's standards.
- Draft new and improving existing project management office policies and processes.
- Evaluate projects to ensure they are meeting company standards, adhering to budgets, and meeting deadlines.
- Accurate documenting the project's creation, development, and execution as well as documenting the project's scope, budget, and justification.
- Lead highly strategic cross-functional and cross-organizational initiatives
- Create and manage cross-functional plans, collaborating cross-functionally with internal teams (and external vendors if applicable) to define requirements and manage timelines.
- Facilitate of end-to-end scoping / estimation and managing cross-team dependencies.
- Engage and provide critical information to leadership, cross-functional teams, and stakeholders (Business Leadership, Product, Engineering, Marketing, etc.) to prioritize initiatives.
- Have clear communicate roadmaps, progress, risks, mitigation plans, and impacts to senior management and internal cross-functional and remote project teams. Steer teams based on business objectives, continuously align teams to those objectives, in the face of ambiguity and aggressive deadlines.
- Have Self-directed (directing cross-functional teams and own staff).
Typically:
- A Bachelor Degree, or may have a Master’s Degree from a four-year college or university
- 7-11 years of directly related experience
- 5 years' experience in the medical device industry.
- 2 years’ experience in a supervisory position and at least one year experience leading medium complexity projects.
- Beproficiency in English
- Ability to coordinate and interact with all levels of the organization effectively (internal and external)
- Sound understanding of regulatory and compliance documentation processes, review cycles and information repositories (meeting minutes, templates, charter documentation etc etc).
