As a member of the team, you will work on the following z/OS components: Runtime Diagnostics (RTD), Predictive Failure Analysis (PFA), Consoles, Capacity Provisioning Manager (CPM), Time Sharing Option/Extensions (TSO/E), Common Event Adapter (CEA), Interactive System Productivity Facility (ISPF). Function Registry and Health Checker.

Key responsibilities:

• Designing, coding and testing of new development projects and defect fixes following z/OS processes and procedures
• Ensuring new development and defect fixes are implemented/resolved within established time frames based on their priorities
• Interfacing with other teams and organizations
• Understanding our internal software development infrastructure and best practices
• Practicing Agile development principles
• In-depth knowledge and experience in C/C++
• Good understanding of data structures and algorithms
• Strong interest in system programming
• Familiar with operating systems concepts
• Fluent level of English language skills, both verbal and written;
• Experience in PL/X and/or Java
• Understanding of z/OS operating system components and workflow
• Experience with source control systems (Git)
• Understanding of Agile methodologies
• Experience with UNIX, ISPF, TSO
