Required Minimum Qualifications:
- Master's Degree in Computer Science, Math, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field AND 1+ year(s) experience in business analytics, data science, software development, data modeling, or data engineering OR Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Math, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field AND 2+ years experience in business analytics, data science, software development, data modeling, or data engineering OR equivalent experience.
- 1+ years of experience in a Data Engineer or Software Engineer role with a focus on cloud-based big data processing.
Other Requirements:
Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:
- Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud Background Check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
Additional or Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's Degree in Computer Science, Math, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field AND 3+ years experience in business analytics, data science, software development, data modeling, or data engineering OR Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Math, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field AND 5+ years experience in business analytics, data science, software development, data modeling, or data engineering OR equivalent experience.
- 1+ year(s) experience with data governance, data compliance and/or data security.
- Experience in developing tools and data pipelines processing very large volume data by using Apache Spark and Python or similar tools. Experience in data visualization tools like Power BI.

Responsibilities
- With guidance, Implement robust data pipeline to extract raw data, validate its quality, and ensure the correct data is ingested and processed within your area of works.
- Optimize performance of big data jobs.
- Contribute to performance monitoring protocols across a data pipeline, supporting existing visualizations and aggregations to ensure pipeline performance.
- With guidance, maintain compliance with all applicable laws and policies across your assigned workstreams.
