As a

You will work alongside transport planners, modellers, and traffic engineers on a variety of projects, including transportation planning, modelling, traffic engineering, parking, and public transport planning. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a wide range of projects, from feasibility studies and policy development to full-scale strategic modeling and scheme appraisal. You'll be part of a global team of over 1,000 transport planners, working on cutting-edge projects that shape the future of transportation.
In addition you will
- Conduct extensive data analysis and processing to provide high-quality inputs for modelling and appraisal activities.
- Prepare detailed study reports and create compelling presentation slides.
- Support the development of demand forecasts, transport policies, and strategies.
- Contribute to appraisal and business case development for transport investments.
- Assist in development planning and scheme feasibility studies.
- Provide technical and analytical support across various transport planning and modelling projects
Here's what you'll need
- With a Bachelor's degree in engineering, transport/ town planning, mathematics, physics or a related field
- Strong numerical aptitude with excellent data analysis skills.
- Proficiency in at least one with transport modelling software packages (EMME, VISSIM, VISUM, CUBE, SIDRA)
- Experience in GIS Software such as QGIS, ArcGIS or Mapinfo
- Excellent technical, interpersonal
- Strong computer software skills
- Team working capabilities
- Excellent written and oral communication in particular the ability to communicate technical issues to a non-technical audience
- Consistent attention to detail
Desirable skills:
- Programming skills in data analysis, management or science (Python, SQL, R, Java, VBA)
- Interest in broader transport strategy/policy, scheme assessment and appraisal techniques
