As our new Associate Transport Modeller, you'll play a crucial role in providing top-notch transport modelling services for the Transport Planning market across the ANZ region. Working closely with the Section Leader of Transport Analytics and Technical Directors for Transport Planning, Transport Engineering, and Transport Modelling, you'll take the lead on transport modelling and assessment projects. Your expertise will be invaluable in offering technical guidance for transport modelling advice on strategic consulting and design projects.
Project delivery and management are central to this position. You'll be responsible for overseeing projects from inception to completion, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality and efficiency. Your ability to position and win projects involving a range of services will be crucial to our continued success.
A key aspect of this position involves interfacing with our Global Integrated Delivery (GID) centres. Your expertise will be instrumental in enhancing our delivery capabilities to meet ambitious targets.
- Relevant engineering, mathematics or other relevant tertiary qualification
- Demonstrated track record of leading the winning of work/interfacing with clients in a work-winning capacity
- Significant understanding of theoretical transport modelling concepts and applications
- Extensive experience with the latest strategic modelling methodologies, processes and software packages, CUBE experience is desired, with EMME also preferred. Experience with the Victorian Integrated Transport Model (VITM) is highly desirable.
- Extensive experience in coding (such as Python) and visualisation tools (such as Tableau) will be an advantage
- Experience with mesoscopic and microsimulation software packages is a bonus, as is experience with the Victorian DOMINO model (a VISUM model).
