JOB DESCRIPTION

Advanced Systems Engineer Responsibilities:
•Perform customer flow down requirements decomposition and analysis of software, hardware, platforms and systems requirements.
•Manage requirements and maintain traceability.
•Involve and deep dive in technical analysis, technical risk management for Flight Management System.
•Lead and develop test strategy for the Flight Management System, define test framework and identify needs for various test solutions.
•Lead system validation and verification.
•Lead system integration of hardware and software.
•Coordinate with Project Engineering team in managing cost estimate, work breakdown structure, work allocation and planning for building/upgrading test environment and developing new test environments.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
•Location: Phoenix, AZ
•40 hours/week
•Employee Referral Fee: $1500

YOU MUST HAVE:
Qualified applicants must have a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Electronics Engineering, or a related field, and 7 years of experience in any occupation in which the required experience was gained. Full term of experience must include: System Engineering, Requirements Management, Flight Management System, Project planning & Control, Test Engineering, System Verification and Validation, Customer Interaction & Support and Proven analytical skills. Must possess 5 years of experience in the following: Requirements Analysis and specification, Avionics Test Equipment Design, System Integration & Test, V&V processes and overall Avionics Systems Engineering. 5% international travel required. Telecommuting permitted up to two (2) times per week.
